Is there a clinical document reprinting fee?

Yes.

An administrative fee of $16.50 applies when a clinical document needs to be reissued outside an appointment. This may include:

• prescriptions;

• referrals;

• pathology request forms; and

• other clinical documents that have been lost, misplaced or destroyed.

Reissuing a clinical document may require administrative processing, review of your medical record and preparation of a replacement document outside a scheduled consultation.

The $16.50 administrative fee is not eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Your dermatologist may determine that a consultation is required before a prescription, referral, pathology request or other clinical document can be reissued.

If an appointment is required, our staff will let you know before the request is processed.
