Why is a deposit required after a missed appointment?

If you miss an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we may require a $75 deposit before another appointment can be confirmed.

The deposit helps us manage appointment availability and reduces the impact of appointments that cannot be offered to another patient at short notice.

The $75 deposit is credited to your account and will normally be deducted from the consultation fee when you attend your next appointment.

It is not an additional consultation fee where the appointment is attended as scheduled.

If you cancel your next appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, the deposit may be applied towards the applicable late cancellation or non-attendance fee.

A further deposit may be required before another appointment can be booked.
